Our company specializes in the production of disposable 5 oz yogurt cups, designed for dairy manufacturers and food packaging businesses. The cups feature uniform wall thickness and a standardized rim, making them compatible with high-speed filling lines and ensuring efficient sealing with foil or plastic lids.

These 5 oz yogurt cups are made from polypropylene (PP), a polymer recognized as safe for food contact by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) under 21 CFR 177.1520. PP is chemically stable and will not react with yogurt, preserving the product's original flavor and quality. It offers excellent moisture barrier properties and maintains structural integrity under refrigeration. The cups are BPA-free and comply with the European Union's (EU) No. 10/2011 regulation on food contact plastics.

We employ In-Mold Labeling (IML) technology, during which pre-printed polypropylene labels are fused into the cup wall during the injection molding process. This creates a seamless, high-gloss finish that is scratch-resistant, moisture-proof, and resistant to peeling-ideal for cold storage and transportation. The printing process uses food-safe inks and supports full-color, high-definition graphics, accurately reproducing brand logos, nutritional information, and other visual elements.

Q1: What is IML?

IML refers to an automatic robotic hand attaching a printed label to a jig by vacuum, entering the mold cavity and releasing the vacuum while electrostatically charging the label. After the mold is closed, the injection mold is filled, and the resin is melted into the mold at high temperature and high pressure The backside of the label is hot-melt adhesive resin, so that the label and container are integrated.

The delivery time of mass goods in-mold labeling is 15 days, and the mass production leading time is generally 15-20 days.

Q4: What is the minimum order quantity? Can I place an order if I do not reach the MOQ?

Generally, the minimum order quantityl is 50000 pcs. If the MOQ is not reached, the labeling MOQ fee 200USD and the injection machine set up cost will be paid by clients.
